What do we do?
At Tienda de Fruta we grow tropical fruit on our farm in Almuñécar and we sell you the fruit of our land directly without intermediaries. We also offer guided tours of our farm, where you can see the only coffee plantation in Europe and the oldest mango tree on the Iberian Peninsula.

We are not just a shop; we are farmers with a vocation to share our best crops with you and we want you to be part of this adventure, that's why with every purchase you make you will receive a voucher for a free guided tour of our farm. We also give you the chance to make an artisan ice cream, learn how to make an Italian espresso or enjoy a professional photography course.
Why buy tropical fruit online?
Because we streamline and optimise the distribution channel; there are no intermediaries and in this way you help us to defend the sustainability of our countryside.
Do you grow tropical fruit in Spain?
We enjoy special climatic and orographic conditions that protect us from wind and frost, and the proximity of the Mediterranean also softens the temperature. In the surrounding area there is no industry or pollution problems, so we are a rather privileged orchard.

Is it safe?
Yes; do you see the little padlock to the left of our address in your browser? It is a certificate of maximum security guarantee in electronic commerce, all the information is encrypted from your bank to your computer; the payment is made through the virtual gateway of your bank, so we never have access to your data.
Do you have green options?
Not yet, we are in the process of obtaining official CAAE certification, however we do not apply pesticides, we shred pruning waste, we grow eisenia phoetida and we follow a policy of recycling and respect for the environment.

What is the return and exchange policy?
When you buy at Tienda de Fruta, you have the right of withdrawal, exchange or replacement; this means that you can cancel your order by calling us before XXXX hours on the same day that we have to place the order.
In the event that when you receive the box, it arrives broken, damaged or wet (due to mishandling by the carrier) and you believe that the fruit has been affected, you can always reject it by indicating the reason on the delivery note. In this case, if you call us, we will quickly send you a new box without extra charge.
In the event that you receive a box without our label, we recommend that you do not accept it, as it will mean that the carrier has broken our box and replaced it with a generic one of theirs, with the possible loss or mishandling of the fruit.
